In the waterside suburb, Cronulla, this home was elegantly transformed by the artistic touch of Genine Noakes, from Genine Noakes Design, and will be appearing in the upcoming March edition of Home Beautiful.

The owners came to Genine with a very dated property, set thirty years back in time, hoping for a splash of modernity.

The design ultimately conveys an ambience of serenity, corresponding with its surrounding environment.

Genine’s rendition features a collection of elegant, calm spaces. Soft textures contrast strong form to bring a beautiful harmony to this home.

The kitchen and entertaining space is truly the showstopper. Featuring SNB Stone’s Carrara marble slabs on the kitchen benchtop and splash back, it’s cool tones coming from the honed slabs play perfectly with the warmth exuded from the Newage veneers. An elegant approach to functional spaces, the rounded wall claddings allow for smooth transitions between this area and the rest of the home. Integrated gas cooktops make the design seamless, adding a designer touch.

Connecting these two spaces, SNB Stone’s Chambord Grey Limestone tiles adorn the floor. The grey tones compliment the lounges, illuminated by an abundance of natural light to mirror the home’s oceanic milieu.

The bathroom also features Chambord Grey Limestone, creating a cooling and peaceful atmosphere.

All in all, this home is amazingly comfortable, while maintaining a strong sense of practicality and form. The new owners should consider themselves very lucky!

Nestled in the beautiful suburbia of Epping, this home features a stunning French provincial style kitchen, designed by DeGabriele Kitchens themselves. Since 1980, their team has consistently promised and delivered skillfully crafted bespoke kitchens and bathrooms, with multiple kitchens as finalists for the 2021 KBDi Designer Awards.

A luxurious caramel tapestry of cabinets frame the stove to create a charming contrast with the navy blue island. Roped together with the decadent gold trimming, a nautical note sounds, stirring a yearning for the open seas.

Supplied by SNB Stone, the project’s prominent feature is the Neptune Quartzite used for the island, benchtop and the splash back. Quartzite is a material highly recommended by industry experts for its beauty and durability. It is a unique and exotic natural stone has the aesthetic and characteristics of marble but the strength of granite with a resistance to acidity.

Our stone hosts a deeply sophisticated array of grey tones, upon which, we find scattered webs of white veining. This perfectly complements the naval themed colour scheme used, presenting this ultimately regal design to the viewer.

Also supplied by SNB Stone, the project features honed Crema Marfil Marble tiles, a beige natural stone from Spain. Marble comes in many different colour variations and usually displays a prominent veining pattern with luxurious swirls and patches of contrasting colour that makes marble so opulent and sophisticated.

Its exuded warmth translates into a comfortable home-living atmosphere.

This project was described as challenging, but it had a jaw dropping finish.  Based in an inner southern suburb in the City of Brisbane, Kangaroo Point, the residents approached the very talented team at Darren James Interiors to transform an underground part of their home into a lavish cellar.

As usual, Darren James Interior, did not disappoint and created a space you would be happy to stay forever!

Following heritage guidelines and preserving the original sandstone, the team created a haven filled with character, uniqueness and space for a lot of wine!

For the benchtop in the cellar and close by laundry, Darren James Interior used our Omega Black Quartzite that sat so elegantly.

Quartzite is a material that is highly recommended by industry experts for its beauty and durability. It is a unique and exotic natural stone has the aesthetic and characteristics of marble but the strength of granite with a resistance to acidity.

Darren James Interiors is a Brisbane based design studio lead by award multi-winning husband and wife duo Darren James & Elissa Greer. They launched their company in 2005 and become renowned for their unique and bespoke residential projects.

A described by the homeowner as “a bit of an ugly duckling”, this Blue Bay home was in much need of a renovation. The project began in 2017 and took two years to complete and was clearly well worth the wait! The design is quite soft and inviting – perfect for a beach side property.

The interior designer in charge was the talented Stewart Horton of Horton & Co. He was able to transform this “ugly duckling” into what looks like a gorgeous holiday home in the Hamptons.

For the dining, lounge and kitchen Horton used SNB Stone’s Silver Casa honed Limestone tiles. Very intelligently, Stewart used the same Silver Casa honed Limestone tiles for the walls.

Limestone is a great choice for flooring because the tiles are hard and do not wear easily. It also creates a timeless and charming feel to your home. The best part of course is that limestone is resistant to mould and bacteria making it very easy to maintain.

Horton & Co is an amazing interior Designer practice based in Newcastle that specialises in residential, commercial, retail and hospitality design projects. www.hortonandco.com.au

When Sandeep Rawal, director of SNB Stone, started SNB Stone in 1995, he had no idea that the brand would become renown in the marketplace as pioneers.

Fast forward 25 years and SNB Stone has become a prominent choice for builders, architects, designers, and homeowners for residential and commercial projects in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Whilst SNB Stone could not host the celebrations they would have liked to due to COVID-19 restrictions, Belle Magazine and their Editor-in-chief stepped in and hosted two small events to honor the milestone in the Sydney showroom.

Over the two events, whilst enjoying coffee and treats from a grazing board, architects and designers mingled with SNB Stone and Belle Magazine team members.

A much smaller celebration then anticipated but the team at SNB Stone were happy to be able to share this milestone with some of Australia’s best interior designs and architects.

So cheers, to 25 years!
